The Orpheus Global Independent Music Awards (OGIMAs) 2025 – Terms & Conditions

By submitting an entry to The Orpheus Global Independent Music Awards (OGIMAs), you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. Please read carefully before submitting.

 

1. Eligibility

1.1 The OGIMAs are open to independent musicians, producers, and bands from all countries and musical backgrounds.
1.2 Entrants must be aged 18 or over, or have parental/guardian consent.
1.3 By entering, you confirm that you own or have full permission to submit all materials, including music, images, and text.

 

2. Submission Fees

2.1 A £10 non-refundable fee per submission per category applies.
2.2 This fee contributes to the running costs of the Awards and includes:

Automatic placement in the December 2025 Issue of TJPL News Magazine;

A nomination announcement on Instagram via @tjplnews
, with your tag featured in the relevant category post;

A placement on the official OGIMAs category webpage, including your artist/band image, short bio, and provided social or streaming links.
2.3 Submissions are not valid until payment has been successfully received.

 

3. Submission Requirements

3.1 Each entry must include:

A completed submission form;

An artist/band image;

A short biography or EPK;

At least one streaming or social media link.
3.2 Incomplete submissions or unpaid entries will not be considered.
3.3 Entrants may submit to multiple categories; a separate £10 fee applies per category.
3.4 Submissions for the 2025 Awards close on 28 November 2025 at 11:59 PM (UK time).

 

4. Rights & Usage

4.1 By submitting, you grant The Orpheus Global Independent Music Awards (OGIMAs) and TJPL News a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use your name, image, biography, and provided links for editorial and promotional purposes across all TJPL News media platforms (digital, print, and social).
4.2 All copyrights remain with the entrant.
4.3 No submitted audio or files will be resold, redistributed, or monetised without your express written consent.
4.4 Entrants understand that submission content may be used for editorial promotion or event marketing in connection with the OGIMAs and its affiliated publications.

5. Judging & Selection

5.1 Entries are assessed by a panel of independent music industry professionals appointed by the OGIMAs.
5.2 Judging is based on creativity, originality, vocal/instrumental performance, and production quality.
5.3 The judging process is confidential, and all decisions are final.
5.4 Nominees will be announced on 30 November 2025.
5.5 Winners will be announced on 1 December 2025 via TJPL News and OGIMAs’ official channels.

6. Awards & Recognition

6.1 Winners will receive a free downloadable PDF certificate celebrating their win.
6.2 Optional marketing and visibility packages are available at an additional cost. Details of these packages and associated fees are provided in the official Winners’ PDF Information Pack.
6.3 All entrants, including non-winners, will be featured in the TJPL News Magazine – December 2025 Awards Edition.
6.4 Nominees will also receive:

A category announcement and tag on Instagram via @tjplnews
;

A listing under their award category on the official OGIMAs website with their artist/band image, short bio, and links provided;

Consideration for extended editorial or playlist opportunities at the discretion of TJPL News.

7. Refunds & Cancellations

7.1 Submission fees are non-refundable, including in cases of withdrawal or disqualification.
7.2 In the event of cancellation or postponement, entries will be carried forward to the next Awards cycle or refunded at the organiser’s discretion.

8. Data Protection

8.1 All data is processed in accordance with the UK Data Protection Act 2018 and GDPR.
8.2 Data provided is used solely for administration, editorial, and communication purposes related to the OGIMAs.
8.3 No personal information will be shared with third parties unrelated to the Awards without consent.

9. Liability

9.1 The organisers are not liable for technical failures, corrupted files, or incomplete uploads.
9.2 Entrants are solely responsible for ensuring that submitted materials are accurate, lawful, and properly credited.
9.3 Submission does not guarantee an award, publication, or additional exposure beyond what is stated in these terms.
9.4 Participation is voluntary and undertaken at the entrant’s own risk.

10. Agreement

By ticking “I accept the terms & conditions”, you confirm that:

You have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions;

You are legally authorised to submit the provided materials; and

You acknowledge that all fees are non-refundable and that submission does not guarantee a win.
